I’m Ruben, a photographer driven by a long-standing fascination with creation and human presence. Photography was one of my earliest ways of expressing that curiosity. As a kid, I filled photo books with disposable camera images and handwritten stories, guided more by instinct than by rules. That intuitive way of seeing has stayed with me and continues to shape how I work today.

From the age of eleven, I was deeply involved in cycling. First as an athlete, later working around events, brands and stories. Those years sharpened my sense of timing, energy and atmosphere, while also teaching me to understand what images need to do beyond the moment they are captured. Alongside this, I studied business and marketing, which gave me a strong understanding of how photography functions within a broader context.

While sports and events have been an important foundation, my work today extends far beyond a single discipline. I photograph people, brands, spaces and moments wherever energy flows and stories unfold. From lifestyle and personal branding to corporate shoots, architecture, events, weddings and artistic projects, my focus remains consistent: capturing what it feels like to be there.

Beyond photography, I have a strong interest in philosophy and spirituality. This has shaped a calm, observant mindset and sharpened my ability to recognise patterns, emotions and dynamics in both individuals and groups. It helps me connect with people and approach each project with attention and perspective, aligned with my core values of freedom, meaning and creation.

In a world filled with speed, distraction and increasingly generated content, I believe authentic moments and human presence are more valuable than ever. That belief sits at the core of my work. If this resonates, I’d be glad to connect and explore what we could create together. Let’s have a chat and take it from there.
